Donna Scro Samori
has dedicated her life to the art of movement. She is a teacher, a dancer, a choreographer, and therapist. Each day she lives in the realm and power of movement. She is the Artistic Director of Freespace Dance, dance adjunct professor at Montclair State University, The Mental Health Consultant for the Department of Theatre and Dance at Montclair State University, yoga teacher at Yoga Mechanics, and practicing LSW at Light Street Psychotherapy. Donna has had a rich and full career in both yoga and dance. She has been a dance artist for over 25 years, dancing with some of the most prestigious dance companies and performing all over the world. She has taught and trained dancers at the high school, college and professional levels. Donna is also a Certified Anusara Teacher, 500-ERYT, and has taught yoga on the national OpenFit platform. Donna believes that thoughtful movement is an expression of our hearts. Whether in dance or yoga, we are connecting to a deeper part of ourselves that can be found through the art of movement. She believes movement from the heart is a deep expression of our souls.
